Trail of the Dead (Scarlet Bernard #2) by Melissa F. Olson

I’m loving Trail of the Dead (Scarlet Bernard #2)!!!  Dead Spots is a fresh, new Urban Fantasy/Paranormal series that follows our badass heroine around the supernatural world of LA.  Scarlet was born into the supernatural world, because she is a null.  That means that she can turn these supernatural vampires, werewolves, and witches humans temporarily by counteracting their spells and magic.  With Scarlet’s gift, she scrubs supernatural crime scenes clean.  On top of learning about Scarlet’s interesting talents, there’s a great love triangle between an LAPD cop who got mixed up in her world and a werewolf bartender.  A whole other mess of things happen, and I really want you to pick up and read this series!!!  You must read Dead Spots first!

Spirit (Elemental #3) by Brigid Kemmerer and Losing It (Losing It #1) by Cora Carmack

Loved Spirit (are you sick of me talking about the Elemental series??  I guess I have to wait till 2014 for the next one… WAHHH!) I enjoyed Losing It, too!  Review is to come, but it’s a New Adult novel that doesn’t take itself too seriously – thank you Cora Carmack!

Two five star review in one week?  Craziness!  Check out my reviews to hear how much I loved Breathless and Unhinged!

Next I’ll read…

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine to highlight upcoming releases we’re anxiously awaiting.

Hmmm…. waiting on so many books, but thought I’d give a shout out to one of another one of my favorite series, The Fiery Heart (Bloodlines #4)!

In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her. . . .

But the struggle isn’t over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there’s still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure—and re-education—looms larger than ever.

Pulses will race throughout this thrilling fourth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where no secret is safe.

O.M.G. I am DYING TO GET THE FIERY HEART!  It honestly HURTS MY HEART TO WAIT!  I’m sorry… my 28 self is throwing a bit of a temper tantrum, but I just adore the Bloodlines series.  Richelle Mead is amazing, and I definitely plan on reading her other book series while I twiddle my thumbs… waitin’ on The Fiery Heart.  If you haven’t read Vampire Academy and Bloodlines… get with the program! It has Young Adult/Paranormal/Romance/Action… you’re going to love them.  You can thank me later.

Everyone, have a happy and safe weekend!  Let’s hear what you’re reading/waiting on!
